Since 2011, we have helped numerous families at all five major children’s hospitals in Portland, OR.

Patrice Demmon, inspired by her personal experience of sending her infant son to OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital, channeled her compassion into crafting origami cranes to sell at $1.00 each. Having faced the financial challenges of housing and travel during her son's critical care, Patrice aimed to alleviate the burden for other families. Recognizing the crane's symbolic power to bring peace and comfort to those in need, she founded CraneAge, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to supporting families with children in critical care
